  • Minor road repair
  • Right of way maintenance
  • Snow and ice removal
  • Maintenance of all associated equipment required to maintain the 26 miles of streets in city limits
  • Sanitary sewer collection system maintenance
  • Maintenance of over 600 grinder pumps
  • Tapping of new sewer connections for new construction
  • Maintenance of over three miles of gravity lines
  • Equipment includes: 2001 Dump truck, 1995 Ford one-ton, 1998 Dodge one-ton, 2002 Ford F150 crew cab, 2003 Massey Ferguson mowing tractor equipped with a 1999 hydraulic sickle mower, 3 salt spreaders, 3 snow plows, storage for over 80 tons of salt.
  • Miscellaneous small equipment and other parts and supplies are stored in up to date facilities located on the north end of our city.

  • Operation and maintenance of our .360 mgd., sewer treatment facility
  • Daily testing of effluent ensuring water going out is at the highest possible quality
  • Discharge into Table Rock Lake. Under the watchful eyes of the Department of Natural Resources located in Springfield, Missouri
  • Maintenance of 8 lift stations
  • Maintenance of collection system
  • Equipment includes: 3000 gallon sludge disposal GMC Field vehicle, 1995 Ford F250, Head works building equipped with automatic bar screen, influent wet well, 3 SBR's (sequencing batch reactors), 3 sludge digesters, blower building, sludge wet well, 2 effluent equalization basins, sand filters building equipped with 2 traveling bridges sand filters, two channel UV (ultra violet) disinfection chamber.
